CCTV specification on regulated sites
HCIS sets explicit requirements for camera coverage at entries, exits, perimeters and critical assets, for recording retention periods, and for monitoring-station capability. A system that ignores them will not pass. If your site is HCIS-regulated, the specification is not a design preference — it is a compliance boundary, and we design to it.
National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA)
Networked systems
A modern CCTV or access-control system is a networked system, and on many sites it falls under the NCA Essential Cybersecurity Controls. Cameras are hardened, segmented and patched, because an unsecured camera is a route into the network it sits on.

Footage is personal data
Recorded footage of identifiable people is personal data under the Personal Data Protection Law. Retention periods, access control and disclosure need a defined basis, and we specify them with you rather than leaving it to whoever holds the login.
